Baby shower and doctor appointment

Yesterday my wonderful neighbors gave me a baby shower. I got lots of cute clothes, diapers, wipes and an awesome blanket my neighbor Juliann made. It was also nice to get out of the house since I don't get out much these days cause it is getting harder to get around.
Today I had yet another doctors appointment. I gained 2 lbs. and I am measuring right on time. I am still having contractions everyday and I am starting to nest and get more energy. 28 days left, wow. I am now going to the doctors every week, fun.

Another doctors appointment.

I had a doctors appointment last Thursday. I was nervous for this appointment because I have been having random contractions some strong and I was scared that they were going to put me on medication or complete bed rest. Well I'm not on complete bed rest I do have to take it easy for the next week (they want me to at least make it to 35 weeks) I am not allowed to exercise which is torture for me because I was so proud of myself being able to exercise this long into my pregnancy but I guess a week off won't kill me. I am hoping to get back into it by Sunday because then I will be 35 weeks but I guess if the contractions get more frequent and stronger I probably will stop for good. I gained 4lbs. at this appointment which puts me at 24lbs. weight gain.
We have been getting ready for Emily to start kindergarten. (She starts on September 7th). I am sad about this and also nervous about going into labor while she is in school. She is already to go, I think she is starting to get bored with summer plus I'm no fun these days. She is so excited about apple picking season which started last Friday. She can't wait for Grandma and Leslie to take her this year because I won't be able to ride the tractor. And hopefully Daddy will take her once too.

This is a picture of our cat Pepper. She has decided that the baby's crib is hers and sleeps in it everyday. (Lets just hope she breaks this habit).

Frankenmuth and Doctors appointment

We decided to take a small weekend trip to Frankenmuth. Emily really wanted to go Disney World but with me being pregnant and Bob going to school it just wasn't going to happen this year. So we went to Frankenmuth. She had fun we went on a boat ride, ate chicken, rolled pretzels, went swimming, played putt putt, went to an arcade and went to Bronners. Oh, and of course we ate fudge.
Today I had a Doctors appointment (I go every two weeks now). I gained 2 pounds which I'm sure I can blame at least a pound on all the junk I ate in Frankenmuth. I am measuring right on time.

Babies room, Doctors appointment, etc...

I haven't blogged in a while and I don't know where to start. Today I have my check up and it went well. I gained 4 pounds this month for a total of 18 pounds this whole pregnancy I am hoping not to gain much more. It is very hard to believe I am at 30 weeks it has gone by a lot faster than I thought it would. I have been having trouble breathing in the heat and humidity so we have been staying indoors a lot which has given me time to work on the babies room.

Emily is doing good. We have been going to the pool a lot and she just started dunking her head in the water, she is still scared of the water but she is getting better. We took her to see her first movie, Toy Story 3. She loved it and I'm thinking of taking her to see another movie before she starts school.

Doctors appointment and 3D-4D ultrasound

I had a doctors appointment yesterday. Everything is going good. I gain 2 lbs. this month which is so much better than last months 7 lbs. I have my glucose test in two weeks.
Today we went for our 3D-4D ultrasound. It was pretty neat. We confirmed it is a girl and she moves a lot.

Emily's Preschool Graduation

Last week Emily graduated from preschool. It was outdoors and raining. Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Dee Dee, baby Brooks and Leslie came to see her graduate. She was so excited about all the practicing they had been doing that week in school but she wouldn't tell me anything that they were going to do. They did the Pledge and a few songs and then they had big cupcakes but Emily didn't want hers because we had ice cream at home.

My mom and I went yesterday to pick out fabric for the baby's room. I have looked and looked and I have not found any crib bedding that is cheap and looks good so my mom is going to make it. The greens from the two fabrics match, you just can't tell from the pictures.
